The weather on Em & Steve’s wedding day was as Melbourne as it gets. When guests arrived to their ceremony there were blue skies and sunshine, but when Em got there, it was already pouring. By the time the reception started, the rain has subsided.
Anyhow, this isn’t a post about weather. It’s about this couple, who were completely unfazed by that weather, about how Em brought a pair of thongs so she could change out of her killer blue heels to walk through the rainy green grass to get portraits, about the sweetness + fun-ness of the speeches, about their amazing entrance to the reception, about the plenty gold coloured candlesticks the bride’s dad had made that formed an entire city, about their glam dress code. But mainly this is all about the love.
These two kiwis tied the knot in the gardens of Heide Museum of Modern Art followed by a reception at Cafe Vue at Heide. I can’t imagine a more suitable location for these epically stylish and fantastically fun people. It had edge and flair and a fantastic array of people. But enough words, just see for yourselves!
