I’ve known Torbjörn and Paula for quite some time. Torbjörn was one of my brother’s best childhood friends and I think I have known him since I was 12. He’s like an extra brother to me. And I’ve known Paula since the beginning of their relationship. So when the planets aligned and I got to photograph their wedding, it was outright amazing. These two, always close to a laugh, sharing gifts, cheeky kisses and never ending looks, are one of the happiest couples I’ve ever had the honour to meet, let alone call friends.
The wedding took place at Rosenhanska Magasinet, a rustic old granary. In the middle of the lush green southern Swedish nature, they got hitched in the gardens, snapped photos in a pine forest and danced the night away in the granary. It was everything one could have asked for and then some.
Ps. I’ll never forget the moment when I was taking some individual portraits of Paula. Torbjörn was standing right next to me, just looking at his bride in awe. He turns to me and says “Isn’t she the most beautiful person you’ve ever seen?”. Damn. If I had a photo of him looking at her right then I could probably just turn in my photography badge and be done with it.
