I am so excited about this project, I don’t even know where to start describing it. Meet Jane and Francois. Together they’ve been trying to start a cafe the last few years. And it’s not just any old cafe, they want to combine delicious coffee with employment opportunities for refugees.

This couple are not only incredibly sweet and funny, but oh so inspiring. I feel so blessed to have crossed paths with them, and that they wanted me along to document the way. On Monday a bunch of us headed to their new location in Richmond to shoot the crowdfunding video, and in between takes I took some portraits in front of the cafe. Such a gorgeous couple and such a great location!
