Annie & Kenneth are one of the most chilled out couples I ever photographed. Chilled out but with a spot on sense for details and styling. Plus a whole lot of sass + quirk. I mean, for their engagement session we headed to a forest and did a food fight. So when their wedding rolled around I was stoked. It was a day filled of contrasts, sun, wind and a whole heap of fun. From the two tea ceremonies in the morning (the second one was followed by lunch, at which point Annie’s mum rolled up the sleeves of her gold dress and winged the biggest knife I’ve ever seen to chop up food), to the urban city side portraits in that dreamy red dress, to the reception at Leonda by the Yarra, everything was just perfect! Add in a kick ass photo booth by Oh My Booth!, a Michael Jackson impersonator and a tango as the first dance and you’re done.
Oh! But maybe the most memorable part of the night must have been when the bride and groom were announced at reception, and instead of Annie and Ken walking out, Ken’s parents rocked up with arms in the air. Best. Thing. Ever.
